Recover with a backup code

Use one of the backup recovery codes you saved when setting up two-step verification. Each code works once.

This is a saved recovery code, not the changing six-digit authenticator code. Use 15–128 characters. A long, unique passphrase works well. Avoid your name, email name, or the product name.

This signs out existing sessions. Two-step verification stays enabled.
